Nepal is a patriarchal social structure with deep-rooted ethnic caste system. IDS-Nepal’s willingness to share equitable resource opportunities with the country’s most disadvantaged groups-including women, the socially excluded, and very poor-has have been embedded in the planning, conceptualization and operation stages of all its initiatives.
