IDS Nepal carefully chooses projects working in various regions and districts of the country, and ensures an explicit focus on the improvement of quality of life for all of its beneficiaries. Detailed Activities

Review existing NWASH MIS database, provide status of activities implemented as per existing WASH plan, train staff and enumerators in each local government on data collection and pdating, conduct data collection process including simultaneous data editing and verification, conduct stakeholder data validation, facilitate water supply (WS) service mapping and planning and generate update WASH plan reference document (Laldandi and Bagmati Municipality; Parsa, Brahmapuri, Chandranagar, Basbariya, Dhanakaul, Ramnagar and Kaudena RM of Sarlahi district<\/em>)<\/p>

  • Participation of consultant team in Master training on NWASH MIS updating, water supply service mapping<\/li>
  • 3 days training to LG representative on NMIS and data collection process<\/li>
  • Desk review of existing NMIS database, LG WASH plan, activities implemented since development of WASH plan and process of linking to annual budget policy and plan, and preparation for meeting with LG<\/li>
  • Half day ward level meeting for service mapping: verify secondary data and identify data collection points<\/li>
  • 1 day task force meeting: compile service mapping report from existing available data for all wards, develop data collection plan for updating data and collecting missing data, and agreement on hiring process of social and technical enumerators<\/li>
  • 3 days NWASH MIS training for WS System technical enumerators<\/li>
  • 3 days NWASH MIS training for social enumerators<\/li>
  • 2 days NWASH MIS training for health facility representatives<\/li>
  • 2 days NWASH MIS training for school facility representatives<\/li>
  • NWASH MIS data collection with simultaneous field level verification<\/li>
  • Data verification and editing<\/li>
  • Half-day ward level meeting (for all wards) for data validation, service planning and prioritization<\/li>
