This project entailed a feasibility study of community forestry-based briquette enterprise establishments in the Salyan, Pyuthan, Jumla, Rolpa, Dang, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Makwanpur districts. Within the study, potential sources of funding for enterprise development were identified and an action plan was created. Potential forest products were also linked on the basis of each project cluster. IDS Nepal facilitated policy discourse and policy analysis related to forestry-based enterprise and there were presentations at regional events regarding potential community-based forestry enterprises.
