This project was conducted as a joint venture with PPSDC, ENPHO, and Nepal Consult. The aims of this project were to engage children in the design of their own SWSHE program and to facilitate discussion among children, teachers and SMC members. Teachers were trained in building competencies (knowledge and skills) of children, enabling them to effectively participate in the development and implementation of their own SWSHE program. Moreover, the District Sanitation Steering Committee (DSSC) members were trained on project implementation processes including planning, supervision, monitoring, assessment, and reporting.
