Tracking Adaptation and Measuring Development (TAMD) Framework:

The TAMD “twin track” framework evaluates adaptation success as a combination of: how well countries or institutions manage climate risks (Track 1) and how successful adaptation interventions are in reducing climate vulnerability and in keeping development on track (Track 2).

Phase 1 (Scoping, Appraisal and Design) involves the development of a policy engagement strategy for the TAMD initiative with the Government of Nepal and other key stakeholders in the country, a review of TAMD draft outputs, and engagement activities of the TAMD Appraisal and Design workshop including:

Feasibility testing of bespoke TAMD framework development takes place in Phase 2 and during Phase 3, the tested TAMD framework is submitted to the Government of Nepal for review and the results disseminated.
